Attilio Ghisolfi

In the center of the Barolo wine-growing area, on the road climbing up to the village of Monforte D’Alba, stands the Attilio Ghisolfi winery run by the determined Gianmarco Ghisolfi. Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo are grown on 15 of the Estate’s 20 hectares, alongside small quantities of Freisa and Pinot Noir grapes. While the Ghisolfi family has been growing grapes for three generations, they only began bottling in 1988 and today produce only 3,500 cases annually.
